A Personal Project on Transition Investing

I've always been fascinated by financial markets and their power to shape the world. At the same time, I'm deeply concerned about climate change and the future of our planet. Transition Investing is my space for connecting those two passions under one umbrella.

In 2023, I picked this project back up after it had been a seed of an idea for a while and having worked on similar subjects professionally for years. I wanted a space to explore different angles and spend more time thinking them through, and it quickly became a way to explore how sustainable investing can deliver both financial returns and positive environmental impact. Along the way, I've dug into regulations, analyzed datasets, and experimented with quantitative approaches to better understand the transition to a low-carbon economy.

About a year later, life got in the way and the site content disappeared, because I hadn't renewed the service on time. A classic case of "My domain expired before my enthusiasm did." I was still very new to managing the technical side of a website, so rebuilding it became part of the learning curve too. One might say I had to reboot the whole project.

This is where I am today: rebuilding, refining, and trying not to let the tech side outgrow me. My goal with this project is to share what I learn along the way.
